the best part about this..

It wasn't just another MIDI import like you see -EVERYWHERE- on this site. you did a really nice job with the piece. The ending seems to be cut a little too short, but I really enjoyed it.

I don't usually like techno aspects in FF songs either, but again, you did better than a lot of people do.

Realmguys responds:

Thank you for saying so, I really appreciate the feedback and review. :)

Amazing ;_;

Again..just incredible. You're a really talented composer, it's strange I haven't seen your stuff around the portal much..then again I don't lurk too much.

Anyway, you're perfect with volume balances, and creating that semi ambient field with the music. I absolutely love this song, and I think you can be on my favourite artists list <3

kelwynshade responds:

Haha. Thanks a bunch. I've only discovered Newgrounds from a buddy around september of last year and figured this would be a great place to keep me inspired to compose and post often.

I appreciate the comments and will glady take a seat in your favorites list.

Awesome!

Awesome RPG feel to it, really simple melody, and really happy. Absolutely love it :D

kelwynshade responds:

Hooray. Glad you love it!

Creepy

awesomely creepy, really well made. This ambient noise would suit a game perfectly, or perhaps a horror movie. I could just see it in a movie like The Ring or something. maybe Saw :)

Well done ;D 5/5

JakesFable responds:

Thanks very much man ;)

Nostalgic

Very very nostalgic, and very well metalised version of the Tintin theme. I totally loved that show.

The Good:
Good beat
Sweet little riffs
Awesome harmonies and solos

The Bad:
Nothing really, the melody lost a bit of power sometimes I spose.

5/5 :)

Gorekiller responds:

Haha thanks, mate !! Tintin is one of my favorite cartoons. Too bad there won't be any episode from Hergé ! Thanks for the review !!

Good but...

It's a great little loop, and I'm not voting it down for its size :P But as you mentioned yourself the prouction was a bit subpar..the melody itself needs to be a bit louder. Otherwise you've got a pretty nice little bit of music that you should consider on expanding into a full song :)
3/5

Sorry it took me so long to respond, the redesign was frustrating at first (trying figuring out the response). Thank you very much, we appear to be on the same page as I'm in the process of writing a song using this as either a chorus or intro.

Nice

As said before, yeah, very nice and simple. The only problem I have with this one is those "aah" voice sorta things, they're a bit too loud. I reckon it'd be good if you just lowered the volume and gave them a subtle echo. But other than that you've made this very nicely :) 4/5

Cosmos8942 responds:

=.= Was hoping nobody would have a complaint about those T.T. I tried lowering the sound a bit...but when I submitted it...it kinda went up a little >.>. Still sounds nice to the ears though :D

Thanks :P

Niceeee

It's very nice, but when the main melody starts, it's a bit too intrusive in my opinion. Maybe another instrument would suit it :) other than that I love it.

Cosmos8942 responds:

Intrusive...bah...thought the instument sounded nice...but yeah...maybe I will remake this song one last time and see what I come up with...

Thanks for the review though

Winrar

CFX I agree this is made of win

cfx responds:

I'm always anxious to put music to visuals... this was no exception!

One of the shortest pieces I've ever done, too; I had it laid out in less than an hour and "perfected" in about 3. Sort of record-setting for me, even if it isn't the most uber TUNE in the world.

Props for your props!

I write music and I like to watch stuff. :)
